Moringa Bites is a Cairo-based functional snacks brand launching with a single SKU — a moringa, date and oat ball — and a clear ambition: to be the first Egyptian functional snack with editorial presence, not just supplement-aisle aesthetics.
The founders wanted a launch image library that could carry the brand for its first eighteen months across packaging, e-commerce, social, paid, retail point-of-sale and PR. Roughly fifty final images, with a reusable visual language.
The non-negotiable: the moringa leaf had to be the visual hero. Most plant-based brands hide their key ingredient. Moringa Bites wanted to show it.
We built the brand's photographic system around three repeatable shots — what we called the Specimen, the Surface, and the Hand. Specimen images frame a single product against deep aubergine paper with a fresh moringa leaf laid alongside. Surface images live on a hand-poured concrete slab with crumbs, leaves and dates scattered architecturally. Hand images bring scale: a hand mid-bite, a hand halving a date, a hand brushing leaves.
All three shots use the same lighting setup — single source, raked from camera-left, soft fill from below — so the founders can keep producing this look themselves between our shoot days. We even left them a printed recipe of the rig.
The launch images cover all packaging panels, the website, and the first three months of paid social. The brand booked a retainer the week the campaign went live.
